  Concrete Poles

LPMI Prestressed concrete poles were developed to offer a cost effective, permanent solution for the pole industry.  From lighting, surveillance and utility markets to structural and specialty uses, our poles can be found all over the United States as well as internationally.  Unlike wood and steel, we have the ability to color our concrete without the use of paint therefore providing a permanent, maintenance free solution.     Combine our endless array of colors with an expansive selection of exposed aggregate finishes, and LPMI can provide you with a structurally sound, architectural pole that will enhance your project.

Our poles are classified by Type according to their ultimate capacity to sustain a horizontal load applied at a point 2’ from the tip and range from Type I to Type V.  We typically use a 6000 PSI concrete mix design for all of our poles and often times achieve much higher 28 day breaks due to strict quality control measures and our emphasis on safety.  All of our raw materials conform to the most current ASTM specifications as seen in the Concrete Pole Specifications section of the pole catalogue. Our technology, allows us to produce an extremely strong product that will outlast traditional wood and steel poles in almost any application.

At LPMI, we currently stock a full line of standard utility poles from 25-40’ in length and have the ability to stock any of our street, sports or architectural lighting poles as well. Whether you need internal grounding, tenon or simplex lighting attachments, sleeves and custom raceways, we can design the right pole for your project. Please visit our full pole catalogue for more details and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
